Shanghai gongzi Machinery Manufacturing Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Shanghai Air Gun (SAG). This acquisition, which must be ratified soon by the Chinese authorities, will be conducted in two steps: Cybergun will acquire 33% stake immediately and have an option additional 17% exercisable on the next two years.
For over 50 years, SAG has a reputation for its range of rifles and pistols compressed air drive. SAG has launched its new products successfully in Many countries like the United States, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, with a production of more than 300,000 pieces per year. The Group has 300 employees and a plant 20,000 square meters next to Shanghai. The joint venture also owns Marksmann of famous brands and Beeman.
Mr Luke Nash, manager of Cybergun SMK-UK, who recently joined the Cybergun Group, has been cooperating with Mr. YU 7 years Zhisong, CEO of SAG China. This cooperation has enabled SMK to become leader in its field in the UK.
The acquisition includes a license agreement marks the long-term holding with the SAG. This vertical integration is a unique strategic opportunity for the Group Cybergun to benefit from its own production plant in China with the approval of Chinese government to produce and export its products. The acquisition of 50% of the plant Chinese SAG creates a new leader for integrated manufacturing to distribution, with a unique portfolio of brands, and give the Group new strengths and enormous potential for growth.
