When you start poking around in the murky world of politics, you are never QUITE sure exactly who the “strange bedfellows” might be.
SO, As we were doing some on-line researching into the mess behind California Senate Bill 798….up pops a TOTALLY UNEXPECTED Twist….involving AIRSOFT, AEG’s and a proposed Bill in the UNITED STATES SENATE. Why was The Honorable U.S. Senator John Cornyn proposing in 2009 to temporarily suspend customs duties on “electric pneumatic airsoft rifles?” And, for whom..or what company?
A U.S. Senator does not just propose bills “for the hell of it.” We are researching contributors to find a link, if one might exist “on the public record”…but in all likelihood, it was likely handled through a PAC (political action committee) or via a donation from a corporate law firm or lobbyist.
